Invisible Service Technicians, LLC is proud to announce that it has received its first patent for HVAC&R Monitoring. Patent number 7,274,973 may just be another patent number, but it represents a critical leap for IST and its constant pursuit to create the most innovative, affordable, and customer friendly monitoring device on the market today.

The IST monitor uses advanced sensor technology to monitor vital operational parameters within HVAC&R systems, as well as any piece of electrical or mechanical systems where thresholds of temperature, humidity, and pressure (to name a few) must remain within critical limits. The patent that was recently awarded concerns the transmission of the vital information through means of cellular or dial-up modem communication back to our central server. Immediate alarm notifications are then sent via fax, text message, email, or pager automatically and without any human intervention. The entire process takes just a few seconds.

IST has recently filed a second patent which concerns the false alarm-proof software – the backbone of the system. Part of the uniqueness of the IST Monitoring system is that operational delays and dependencies can be set according to customer needs whereas certain alarm conditions can only be present when one, or a number of factors, is present as well. IST hopes to have this patent granted within the next few months.
