IST: Past, Present & Future
Invisible Service Technicians, LLC was created in February of 2003 by Michael Duty, an entrepreneur who had previously spent 21 years as the president of Newtron Products, a pioneer in the electrostatic air filtration business. Promoting Newtron Products across the country allowed him to speak with hundreds of intelligent minds in the HVAC&R business. The ability to effectively monitor HVAC&R systems was, generally speaking, not a new concept. However, it was engineering a monitoring solution that could be made affordable to a mass market that was truly intriguing. Thus, Michael assembled a brilliant team of engineers and began his goal of bringing an affordable, yet comprehensive monitoring solution to the marketplace. In February, 2005 the recently developed IST Monitoring system won the most prestigious award at the annual AHR Convention in Orlando for Innovation in Building Automation.
The IST Monitor was engineered on a platform so flexible, it can effectively monitor virtually any mechanical or electrical piece of equipment. Whether the equipment is considered heavy commercial or light residential, the IST monitor is capable of satisfying the monitoring necessity on any equipment size.
